28 April 2020Spring Forward 2020 was supposed to take place in Rijeka and Opatija, instead it became a virtual experience over 3 days of live streaming through Zoom.
The one and only Edvin Liverić was the best tour guide we could have ever imagined! Congratulations to the Croatian Cultural Centre team for such stunning videos, you made us feel like we were there.
The Aerowaves team is also very grateful to the #Twenty20 artists, the Choi x Kang Project and Silvia Gribaudi Company who let us screen their work and participated in the post-show interviews during these strange times.
Hats off to the Springback team (Sanjoy Roy and Oonagh Duckworth) and the writers for such a balance of thoughtful content and bright professionalism in the Springback Q&As.
We could not have gone through so many hours in front of the screen without Giuliana Majo’s tasty tips, and having Jacek Partridge lead the party with Dubioza Kolektiv’s Quarantine show was the best way to end the Zoom marathon.
And last but not least, thanks to our broadcast heroes of The Show Must Go – On Line: Enya Belak Gupta, Aadhar Gupta and Dany Mitzman. Without this trio this virtual festival would not have happened.
